    IMO it makes sense for sites to actively block emails from this kind of service where their intention is to build an email list.

    Hmm, are the claims of blocking spam correct? In many cases the emails may be part of an auto-responder sequence that the user subscribed to. But having viewed the stats page that Aquarezz linked to above (showing 100 or so emails per day per inbox), it looks like it is indeed blocking spam. Maybe the users are subscribing to FFA link pages?

    Whatever, the site design looks good.

    I considered implementing a feature so you could check a box once you created your disposable inbox so that you could make your e-mails public (just the subjects) and then I would make a feed showing subjects of incoming e-mails to give visitors an idea of the different places that the service is being used, but I don't think many people would use it and it might give the illusion that no one uses the service, which is not true.

    A LOT of those e-mails are still being delivered to inboxes created over a year ago. Of course, it's against my users privacy to actually look at them, but just by taking a look through some of the subjects it's easy to see they are spam.

    Of course, if you own a site and the intention is to build a mailing list this service is your worst nightmare. Some of my users are people who are subscribing to mailing lists using QuickInbox for the free gift.

    The stats page counts ALL incoming e-mail. It does not differ between e-mails going to active inboxes and e-mails that are not going to an active inbox. So yes, most of it is considered spam. They are e-mails that the user is no longer interested in receiving.

    Another thing to consider is if you create an inbox today and make it expire in a month, if you go back to it on a daily basis those would not be considered new inbox creations, so the user is actually checking the e-mails received.

    I keep track of read e-mails, but that statistic is not public

    What do you guys think of the stats graph?
