I would have them open in a new window. My reason being sometime you can get lost at places like flicker looking at photos. I know I have before. That way they end up back at your site.

I like very much the design and the front-page picture is a good idea as well. Your portfolio is top, very professional work.

I second Sami's comments about opening a new window.

I tried to open the portfolio page but after a few minutes the load counter disappeared below 30% and the portfolio didn't become visible. Both in Opera and FF, location Belgium.

Other than that, the site (and its design) looks awesome !

yes I am trying to look into the issue, I will also make the links open in new tab

The whole website is coded and designed perfectly. It is so professional looking. So much so, I cannot even think of any suggestions of the top of my head. Congratz!

I am not sure about using flash on your portfolio page. Overall it looks pretty good though. Nice work.
