Is it custom coded and design

A very nice looking site, It's quite obvious you've put a lot of effort into creating it.

The site seemed to load quite slowly for me, particularly the images at the top of the page, have you optimized these?

Also, I find the light grey text hard to read, I would have preferred it to be a bit darker.
