I recently started up a blog just for the fun of it (no ads, at least so far)

Interesting use of language -- ya seem to have covered a wide range of different topics as well. Noice and clean layout.

The only things I'd consider changing are design related:

1. In the right menu: Pull the text in away from the borders a bit. A few pixels on each side should do the trick.
2. In the right menu: Pull your RSS Feed and Email Buttons in toward the center.

Thats a very interesting niche. I like overall color of the site, as it suites the topic very nicely
