Thread: Review someone?

Oke here goes, i'm not a designer at all.
But I guess one doesn't have to be one to be able to build a website.
Anyhow I like to read your review about:

I am also not a designer so my review is from a users' perspective but I am Dutch, maybe that helps
The site looks sober but clean. Perhaps a nice image in the header that is also attractive for the visually impaired would be nice and makes the site more living.
The menu looks good and practical and the articles are well written, can't really comment on that. How do some of your visitors see a page, can they read the regular font type or do they use tools?
Have you considered adding some audio so that target group can listen to the articles, would it help your visitors?

Being able to read Dutch helps a lot, its a all Dutch website afterall.
The thing is I can't do anything graphic related so I kept it sober,
besides the target audience is visual challenged so to them its less important.
I'm more technical minded.

As for the reading of a page:
most users of the website use a screenreader with braille and/or speech.
Having audio next to an article won't be of much use other then being able to download it and perhaps put it on a portable audio device, but that is beyond the scope of the website.
We support IE6 but that is because some use older screenreaders are limited to IE6 only.
