Looks good. Just that the flicker, you should post a few of this flu related pictures on flicker.
People might want to see that.

I think you should include some pictures to make the design look less boring. You could also add an interactive map with links to cases/infections. You could also go into factory farming (the cause of swine flu) and mention that it is bad/raise awareness about the issue etc.

I'd replace the 250x250's in each article with 336x280's. They seem to perform better for me.
