Two Layouts - Which one is better?

Hello friends,

I am just having .jpg files, so can not complete the 2 steps mentioned in rules of this forums.

Please remove the topic if it violates you TOS.

Layout 1: www.zaheerspeaks.com/amiver.jpg
Layout 2: www.zaheerspeaks.com/Amiver-New.jpg

Please let me know which one is better and any improvements you might want to see :)

They both look great, but for some reason I like www.zaheerspeaks.com/amiver.jpg a lot better.

I too will go with http://www.zaheerspeaks.com/amiver.jpg

Other one is good too though

Reason : I was never a fan of pages with big images. This one has a nice balance of text and images.

Thanks. Gave me a clear idea of what is lacking. Also the color of big image is not matching with the theme.

I actually like the second one more. Not as busy and more professional looking.

I second that. :D

Amiver.jpg looks better to me because on the other one the image consumes too much space. On a 1024 x 768 resolution it's almost half the screen.

i thought the first one was better
