Learn how to build google gadgets. They are picked up by the search engines in a few hours. Directory submissions can take days or weeks for the spiders to "crawl" your site/sites. Submit them but google gadgets are a super fast way to get exposure.

Before my forum was destroyed by incompetent server management people, I used to take games from the arcade and craft them into Google Gadgets.
They would bring thousands upon thousands of people...
