I realized that my Wordpress theme did not ultize H1 tags and decided to do some template editing. Now, I think I've properly edited things for the best possible SEO for my make money online blog - but I need some advice to make sure I did it right.

On the Index Page I have this at the bottom of the page:
<br><h1>Make Money Online</h1>Learn about online business and how to make money online.

Therefore, the H1 tag for my index page is Make Money Online - but will Google care that the tag is near the bottom of the page, or does the actual position not matter?

On the Single Posts page I edited the code for the post's title to be H1 rather than H2. Is this right, or should I leave the blog post title at H2 and add my above H1 tag?

<h1><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php if ( function_exists('the_title_attribute')) the_title_attribute(); else the_title(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h1>

This isn't H1 tag related, but I thought it might help SEO:

In the Footer it automatically says "© All Rights Reserved. <mylinkhere>" and <mylinkhere> has the default anchor text of the blog name, which is Running Online Business. Instead, I changed the anchor text to "Make Money Online" and I figured this would help. Am I correct in thinking this, or is it essentially insignificant?

Thanks for the help everyone!

Edit: I just read that it is generally a bad idea to have your H1 tag include a link, so I altered the "single page" code as such:
<a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php if ( function_exists('the_title_attribute')) the_title_attribute(); else the_title(); ?>"><h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1></a>
