My Site Is Not Getting Indexed, Any Ideas?

Hello

I created a site for the Christmas season that is coming up. Site is about three weeks old, and its running on Wordpress. The site still has not been indexed. I usually get my sites to index the same day, mostly.

Its been over three weeks and still no sign of my site on SE's. I have integrated the all in one SEO plug-in, but hasn't helped out at all.

Any ideas on why it has not been indexed? The privacy option in Wordpress has been disabled, so that wordpress allows search engines to crawl the site.

That happened to me a couple of times in the past. I submitted a reconsideration request from Google Webmaster Tools and a couple of days later the site was indexed.

Now, I'm not sure whether the site would have been indexed in any case, but I think it was due to the reconsideration request I sent.

Give it a shot anyway, it doesn't hurt.

I am in the same predicament. Have a site thats ~ 2 months old with loads of quality content and some not bad link building and not even one page is indexed

trying to see if im banned for some ludicrous reason as i cannot explain why my sites not in google

I was thinking of that too. The reason being, my site was registered by someone in 2007, but then dropped. Now, I picked it up. Maybe it was banned before. Not sure.

Would you like to share the url? Or PM? I sense a banned domain around. Was about to ask if the domain was new or old but got the answer in last post. I may help if I know the url.

Umm...at the risk of repeating my self... have you considered submitting a reconsideration request to google?

I had a similar problem with the latest Wordpress site that I made, but it turned out to be the stupid privacy setting (which I'd never noticed before). After fixing that, I just made sure that I had a few links pointing to the site, and that I'd listed (and verified) it in Google Webmaster Tools, and sure enough the bot came along a little while later. Now, new posts get indexed within a few hours. Good luck to you with yours; I hope it's not a duff domain.

Oh, and the site that I'm talking about is all about Christmas too! Ho ho ho!

Make sure that you don't have any canonical issues.

I have a new site that was indexed after a week but it has some canonical that I need to fix in the htaccess file .
