I have sites with .php and .html extensions and have never noticed a difference.
Although I have noticed a big difference when the filename doesn't include an exact match of the keyword I'm targeting.
As far as I know. NO! .. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
But it does depend on how friendly your page is to search engines.
Yes, I agree of course that the page itself has to be SE friendly etc...
But my question is if, hypothetically, two pages were exactly the same in terms of SEO cirteria except for the page extension, would the big G give preference to one extension over the other?
