    In terms of SEO, do php pages get indexed just as well as html pages?

    I've never noticed Google (or any other search engine) preferring any file type (php or html for example) over any other, except when it comes to sitemaps.

    Do you guys notice an increase in rankings in two or three days, or after a couple of weeks?

    I was ranking at 68, then 65, then 61 and now I am back at 68. The keyword is a bit competitive, but I am working really hard on building backlinks from relevant sites.

    So my question again is; Do you guys notice an increase in rankings in two or three days, or after a couple of weeks?

    That depends upon a number of factors. For example, higher PR pages get crawled more frequently, so changes on high PR pages are reflected in the SERPS more quickly. But also, if you are pinging the update servers, your page can be crawled quickly after the change.

    My site is rather new, only about 21 days old. Are you suggesting that I ping sites that hold my URL?

    For example, I created a squidoo page, and it is already indexed in Google. At the same time, some other sites that have my link are not indexed, should those pages be pinged?

    Also, when you have a new site, do you see rankings go up in a couple of days or weeks?

    I'm talking about pinging your URL's to the update servers.

    Usually it's weeks, but the exceptions can be rather enjoyable.

    My site is just plain HTML pages. All pages are indexed in G00Gle.

    What update servers are you suggesting?
