    Is On Page SEO dead?

After the last panda update quality content and social media plays crucial role in the results. And both are all about the Off page SEO methods.
So has on page SEO lost its importance as the crucial term in getting results? Is On Page SEO dead?

Are you really an SEO consultant? Content is on-page SEO. On-page SEO will never be dead. It is the primary reason as to why a page ranks well. Crappy content gets filtered out with Panda.

I don't think on-page is dead. I just think that now there's more awareness of on-page best practice and as a result the battle ground is all happening off-page.

Yeah, the importance of on-page optimization hasn't lost its luster. It is still considered to be quite an useful tactic, to be precise it is the stepping stone to success for SEO. The better one optimize the website on-page the better will be the results, though there are plenty of other factors that does affect but it does widely affect the results.

On page SEO is still alive.. still in the phase of helping website to be crawled by search engines. For on page SEO your site should be search engine friendly and optimized well with the most useful and relevant keywords on the best places on the site pages maintaining the optimal keyword density and keyword proximity.

I agree that it does not pay to obsess. But not all sites are blogs and if you are selling a product or service, it is important to make sure that the content is focused on a topic related to the offerings. The HTML title tag, internal linking structure and other elements also need to be focused. That is all anyone needs to be concerned about with on-page SEO. I ignore keyword density and a lot of other things that no longer work. I have been doing SEO work since 1997 and I have never seen any evidence that keyword proximity has any effect, but that doesn't stop people form making claims that it does. If you test it yourself you will find out that it does not matter.

Just focus on a topic and write about it. Engineering the content doesn't necessarily achieve better results.

If you don't have some on-page focus, the only success you are likely to see is through serendipity. That sounds like a good topic for an article. "Success Through Serendipity"

Works for me even on a site selling something.
Again, why worry about the small stuff that does not as you say count?

    Serendipity is for the obsessive....
