    Top Vs Best - which one for SEO?

    I am confused since long
    which keyword is used more often by people when searching various things.. from US and UK...

    Top is used more OR Best is used more?

    for e.g. top mobile or Best mobile ?

    Best is used in most cases..i have optimized my site for terms having best

    It totally depends on the keyword phrase that you are modifying with "top" or "best" and the context in which you're using it.

    I wouldn't ever say "best ten hits" or "best 10 hits"... It's "top 10 hits!" I would never search for "top mortgage rates"... I would search for "best mortgage rates".

    There is no rule of thumb. You have to evaluate it with the context in which you're using it as a search modifier.

    well 'top' or 'best'...they are highly competitive keyword(s)....what i dont like about it is the low return on investment

    how if I use anchor "top best bla bla" for backlinks?
    will my site rank both for "top bla bla" and "best bla bla" ?

    The ranking will depend on how much "top" and "best" is used in the text and headings..if "top" is used more as compared to "best" then the article will rank higher for "top bla bla" and vice versa
