    What makes a theme/template SEO friendly?

    Apart from the proper use of tags, attributes and a clean code, what makes a theme or template SEO friendly?

    Clean code, good linking structure and easy to spider. A pure CSS design is generally considered to be more search engine friendly than table designs.

    Some claims of being SEO friendly are BS.

    Yes, that is the reason why I asked my question. But I understand now that it depends entirely -in case of a theme creator- how well it can create a theme or template.
