Best way to move up in Digg?

I've tried submitting stuff to Digg a couple of times, but it seems like they only get a few diggs, and then they're gone.

Clearly, you need great content to move up in the Digg ranks. But if you've got some great stuff, what's the best way to get more Diggs?

Well the traditional way would be if you have good content you try to encourage your users to digg your site with add ons that allow them to easily do so.

You'll manage to get quite a few from this and if your site has something really interesting it'll take off. However most stuff that generate their own diggs are something ground breaking which for most sites aren't.

so I tried to find other ways of which I could get my sites and other sites digg. I manage to find a way to get people to willingly help me digg my sites. I wanted it still to be someone original so I asked them only to do it if they genuinely like the site.

I used to offer social bookmarking services and it went successfully I was able to get people to do what I want them to do and to digg the sites that I needed dugg. However please understand that digg has a big protection against spam so that isn't a very good alternative.

Also there are different factors to getting on the front page I was able to get a good amount of diggs more than most but it didn't hit front page since it's really competitive.

A high percentage of the stories that make the front page of Digg are from the power users. Increasing the number of friends is one way to increase how many times you story gets dugg.

Best method I've ever seen is to get a list of digg users who you can trust, or hell, anyone who you can trust, and set up a little voting ring. Make sure you do it outside of Digg. This is what power users do..

    1. Get skype usernames of digg users, or any way to contact them outside of digg.
    2. Send them a message telling them you want to get a voting ring set up
    3. Go to each of the other user's accounts every day and vote up their articles.

For instance if there's 100 users in the voting ring, then you will most likely get somewhere near 100 diggs on an article you submit to the ring, within a couple of days.

I read something about this awhile ago so figured I'd share. I might set up some sort of open voting ring system that people can use on my site, so I'll make a post about it in a bit.

The only way to make it to the homepage of Digg is to be a Power User or to ask one to submit the link for you. Digg really sucks as far as that is concerned...

Simple spread your networks ... dugg others story and help others to reach their story to reach at top ... and you will get the same help from others.
