    Does anyone here use Digg?

I submitted AC to Digg but I don't submit individual topics.

We use Digg for UKGaming, but what we do (or are trying to do) is when a Website Team Member makes an article, they submit it to Digg, Twitter, and the Facebook page, so that it gets noticed by people following those things, thus increasing the amount of people looking on the site. And so far it's working.

You won't get anywhere on digg without being part of many webmaster communities and digg communities and actively beg people to digg your topics.

At one time digg also provided a bit of seo value, but this is no longer the case, as links are redirected.

Digg is largely manipulated by bloggers who have good spots in alot of webmaster communities and "digg circles"

Other than that, "Everyday real users" primiarily submit diggs from big authority news sites. Basically those news sites are really the only sites that successfully employ those buttons you often see on there site such as "Digg this page". This is because they already recieve tons and tons of traffic.

In short, digg is controlled by savvy bloggers and authority news sites. From that point, you actually have to have something interesting to get redugg.

I do, even though its nofollow, no direct URL to your site and hard to get onto the front page. Nonetheless, one hit is better than nothing.

Yes, digg is one of the best bookmarking for me which drive me good traffic and it can actually helps on getting indexed. Digg can be dofollow if you can make your article listed at the home page

Yes digg can help you to get temporary traffic but it will not give you permanent or active community. I use digg to reach more people, I only digg my best posts.

Not really. I rather use Reddit as it gives me more votes and traffic than Digg.
