What I notice is that when
I'm LOGGED IN I see on the browser bar the short links (e.g. digg.com/d3zam1) and when
I LOGGED OUT, I see the regular links (e.g. fansided.com/2009/03/70/200/news-and-spotlight.html)
Even digg use do follow, i think the link is not quality link since your digg page is become subpage. And subpage have no PR, only digg mainpage is have PR.
But it's still usefull :D
Links in comments were nofollow last time I checked. As well as news titles' links.
But that was about a month ago.
I see the real links. Also real links are in the source code too not javascript or something...
