Why can't you make a account with targeted followers? For example, web hosting? Just search for web hosting company names on Twitter (Eg. Hostgator) and find the people tweeting about them. You can follow them/interact/ also make them follow you back. Later on you can do affiliate marketing and easily make $500 a day if you have over 5,000 followers - guaranteed!

I agree 100 percent. But a lot of people are in this to grab the quick cash and not think further.

My main account has 5k, but it is too spread out. Internet marketing friends, real estate friends, Costa Rica people, just way too random to monetize with it right now, but I have also started a few other accounts and will give that a definite try.
