I use fb for both personal and networking within the industry, don't have it setup in the office though, only at home. It's a big time waster.. especially the mafia war games (I'm a level 17 mobster!)

yeah I do that from time to time, but only people I don't really know.

Right now I am trying to keep my personal account personal. I have a few members on many groups. There not every member is my friend, which is good. That gives you an opportunity to reach out to more without having your own profile become a clusterfuck of SEO friends arguing with your political friends and you having to play moderator to keep things from getting too out of hand.

I don't use Facebook for work. I think it is far too personal. I wouldn't lie to try to sell something tomy friends. They would think I'm crazy. They don't understand this internet marketing thing.

I think the fact that facebook is personal, it makes it a good tool to have. If you have friends whom you do not communicate with, that can be slightly useless, but overall I think facebook is a good tool to have and take advantage of.

I honestly don't care if its personal and business mixed. It makes things a bit awkward, but its a good strategy that helps me out.

Facebook is just a bit weird for me. I know people whom I do not want to connect with other people I know.

There is an option in settings allowing you to keep your friends list private.

I use facebook for playing Mafia Wars. But because of the game, I have 3600+ friends. I am thinking that all of those friends are going to come in very useful when I decide to start using the account for marketing purposes.
