I would have to say Twitter.
Twitter seems like a better thing because it's all short messages...as long as your advertisement or whatever is short, it can be easily seen by people fast.
On facebook, there are pictures and other things to distract. I might be wrong but short and clear messages seem to work best.
As per me twitter is more for the business purpose and FB is still more social. So if you want to get more results for your business and want to advertise your business highly then make use of twitter more. And also use FB but less than twitter.
And just try to increase more followers on twitter by providing more valuable content so it will be more beneficial to attract more people and to raise your business.
Ofcourse, twitter is more powerful than facebook but it doesn't mean that FB is less significant. If you own a profile, you should add those people who may buy your services or products. What I have seen and realized is, a profile is more powerful than a fan page.
I agree, facebook is the best.
Twitter is pretty boring, well to me.
People are getting bored with Facebook. Twitter is growing at 31.9% and Facebook's growth rate is slowing to 13.4%. Besides, there's more than one game in town. Pinterest traffic increased 36% in Feb-2012 vs Jan-2012 and Pinterest is now a top 30 website passing 103 million US visits.

Is there any SEO benefit in posting your site links on FB? I was seeing some blurb online about social proof being important, so I was publishing a couple of my site links to FB.
My own links on fb are not doing a thing for me as far as recognized backlinks, or traffic.
Of course, like I said, my fb account is strictly family and very close friends.
But maybe if you have a business page, and work on fb all the time, a backlink might be good for traffic.
Well this should tell you something about advertising on fb.
General Motors has now stopped all paid advertising on fb.
Just not getting the clicks and the business!
A new AP-CNBC poll released earlier Tuesday showed that 57 percent of Facebook users never click on ads or other sponsored content when they are on the site.
I'm noticing after the lastest Google Penguin update that my Twitter page is showing up on Google for long tail keywords. The links may not have any SEO benefit but I'm getting some clicks due to the organic results.
I keep on saying that FaceBook is a more respectable version of Myspace. People are making money there. But I don't see how B2B is ever going to take off. It's much to risky mixing social with serious business especially with the privacy concerns.

This is the last video I watched on Youtube  But you may not want to share it with some of your colleagues at the office.
