Yes I know, but I read through the thread and I couldn't find anyone talking about it, that's why I was wondering if I just read over it, or beargy just started about something completely different

It wasn't written. beargy registered and immediately started spamming the forum with quick, low quality responses so he could promote his signature links. He's currently teetering on the brink between spammer and contributor. If he crosses over into full spammer territory, he won't have an account here anymore.

Of course, most of his responses are in General Chat, which is closed off to the search engines and doesn't increment his post count anyway. Meaning, spammers can attempt to post in General Chat all they want, the search engines won't see it and odds are pretty good we'll ban them for attempting to destroy our forum quality.

Bottom line? Yes people, we know when you're spamming the forum, even if you attempt to hide it behind seemingly inane responses. If you want to promote your site using sig links on this forum, you're actually going to have to earn it.
