actually i don't really understand how like work but for search engine, a bit too much due, to result going to be monopolize by someone or some script ... so no no for me ..
I wonder how this is going to change the net?
Keep the big sites on top and the small sites will need to fight even harder
Google launches '+1,' search result upvoting | Software News - Betanews
P.S. I can see already someone making a program for this.
They had this system in the past, and it's gone for good. There is no way to avoid cheating. You can vote for what you want to rank high in your own search results, but this will not change the real rankings what other people will see.
Think about this.
People go to your site, see your adense ads.
Are they actually going to take extra time and an extra click to hit that like button?
They will either click on the ad or not. Period.
Really, I just do not see it getting that popular.
Who in the world sits around and says "I like this ad"?
And I wish I could tell my friends about this ad, if only I had a button to click on.
I wonder if this will actually affect the ranking structure. This "like" system can be easily sabotaged by the site owners and those that they hire.
I honestly don't see any benefit in having this new feature.
I don't know how the Google management think, but if they do that it is going to be a spam circus in their search engine.
After the corporation brigades employed to create youtube videos, Yahoo answers, Yelp, Facebook, Twiter, affilates, etc we will have the Google +1 corporate brigades lol
After all, we are going to see more corporations garbages and less creative small businesses at the top rankings of search.
As long as men are free to ask what they must, free to say what they think, free to think what they will, freedom can never be lost and science can never regress.
Where else besides search results and ads could they put it?they will appear in more places as the feature grows.
