Thread: How Do You Define Twitter to Newbies?

Sometimes, it is very difficult to explain twitter to newbies. So, how do you explain twitter to them?

Well, here's how I explain it:

Twitter is like facebook, except it is less complicated, simpler, easier, and cleaner.

How about you?

It's this really kewl place where you have to follow people to read their updates and people also follow you. That's all.

I just tell them, "Go figure!" :P

I would say,
"Twitter is a site where you can follow people and see what they are doing and see if a website has done any updating etc"

Twitter is something I've actually just started using and I am still getting the hang of the best way to use it.
