Because it's been in the media. If it was twatter on TV, people would have rushed to twatter !!

I have a Twitter account and the people I follow (only 3 actually) bomb me with URL. I get about 40 post/day with ... 40 URL to click...

Yes, it's a craze now, every now and then I would see a report in the newspaper talking about how hot is twitter now

had one but never got into it, I tried to get into it but the suckers deleted mine as mentioned in another thread

Don't have one and not planning to get one. We are using one account for our company and i'm considering to remove it. I never read those we follow even though its in a relevant industry, it's just not worth the time for me.

I am using twitter as a search option . I have seen that twitter can provide you amazing latest results comparing google . Google takes time to index new data but on twitter you can get it fast .

I am yet to make a debut there!

I thought to make a start one month back but I guess I was held up with my routine work a lot more, to venture out and do justice on new things!
