The twitter users have been making more than the owners of twitter.

Kim Kardashian makes $10,000 a tweet from advertisers.

Now she won't be making that anymore.

Oh really? That's bad news for those who want to make money tweeting others' messages.

I'm sure she'll still get paid to do it...just might not be through the same mechanisms...

good news, i kept unfollowing those people who tweets every second of the day and i guess they're paid to do it. hope twitter do it for me.

If people can make money off of something, why not?

I do not understand this "you should not be making money" attitude. Everyone should be making money, and not just a select few.

and how would Twitter find out if the tweets were actually genuine or paid.

Wow! Haha if I were twitter I could create a platform for such tweet exchange but charge a 50% commission on each successful tweet and make other tweets illegal.

This way I can get in on some of that $10000 tweet money! That's unbelievable! How many follower's does she have?

Good news and bad news

It's good that they're taking action, but it's so radical. It's all or nothing there with Twitter and we knew it would change one day. It's the way it is

I don't care though, if I'd ever want to make money from Twitter I will find something, just not through the ways most of the spammers are doing. If I want to advertise my website, I can promote others' too Most advertisements didn't work for countries outside USA anyway so it will be cleaner now
