Talking Use RSS2Twitter to promote your site on your Twitter profile

In my most recent post on my blog about my new directory, h3n.org, I explained how I used RSS2Twitter to promote my new phpLD directory on Twitter.

RSS2Twitter is awesome! They allow you to enter any RSS feed and they'll automatically post updates from that feed to any Twitter profile. You use Twitter's OAuth system to login so they never ask for your password. They even track clicks on your links and show you stats with a graph in the dashboard when you login.

You can see a sample of my h3n.org latest links feed being posted on it's Twitter profile:

    Pretty sweet right?

  2. We could turn NetBuilders into a Twitter feed...

Would they break long posts up into dozens of tweets?

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

lol...it would be your job to setup the feed

  4. I can't just enter in any RSS feed? NetBuilders already has an RSS feed.

Maybe it's possible to Put the first characters of the post, than '...' and than the shortened link through Ow.ly for example

  6. Looks like twitter is slowly phasing out RSS since it's more natural. I consider using a service like this, but then opted against it for now. If you have a blog or article site I think it's better to tweet your updates manually so you can always make them a little different and be more natural about it rather than looking like it was done by a machine.
