I beleive you can target seperate groups so as not send useless info to certain people...

That would be very useful for me, but I can't see any way to do this in their web GUI.

A friend of mine who is neither a Twitter fan nor a basketball fan sent me this hilarious article, Finally, a Use for Twitter.

You, now that was a nice story. Would have never thought someone like Shaq would mingle with the common folk. None the less invite them to locations using Twitter. Nice to see someone who has the money he has still finds time for his fans and the general public.

Twitter in moderation is beneficial. You can easily announce a new blog post of yours if you think it has value, and if enough people follow you, it can spread like wildfire. If you use the twitter application on Facebook, it will post on your profile there as well and friendfeed can also be connected to it.

That was a really cool story about Shaq and Twitter. It almost makes me want to actually sign up for twitter, haha. I also got sucked in to reading some other entries on that blog, and I'm quite a fan of his writing style and wit. Good stuff
