Thread: Please explaine how Banner ads Tracking codes work.

Hi,

I just sold a a banner ad and the buyer had me place the url to his site this way.

www.yourdomain.com/3g103wJYtqks7C675ABDE7908HDAF

He told me the last was a tracking code so that he would know how much traffic came from my site.

When you click the ad you are taken to www.yourdomain.com

Ok So how dose this work?

IS this a plugin that I can add to my sites so when I buy a banner ad I will know how much traffic I am getting from a certain banner ad?

Please explain how I can do the same thing.
