    Tools to analyze backlinks

What tools do you use to analyze backlinks?

I remember seeing some good sites, but can't find any now.

I actually use SEO Spyglass from www.link-assistant.com. It tracks multiple search engines and allows you to save reports over time.

Yahoo site explorer works well, I also use the linkdomain:domain.com -site:domain.com search at yahoo.

Also, google webmaster tools lets you see your links if you've verified them.

I also use the seomoz.org linkscape tool, which you have to pay for.

I recently starting playing with Advanced Link Manager and this may be another good option for you.

It gets link data from pretty much every possible search engine. It's able to get PageRank, which some of these other tools can no longer do, and it stores the data for further analysis.

It's a lot more complex than any similar tool I've used, so I've got a lot more to learn before I can say much authoritative about it. But, there is a 30-day instant-on license which allows anyone to try it.

41MB, it's pretty big.. downloading it now so we'll see

I may get my own tool developed, it's pretty easy to do in php. Just need to figure what things to include there.
Basically what I want mostly is to know how many links there are from different domains, how many links from each domain and the alexa/pr of these domains. But no available tool provides that.

I would run one here at NB, but all the search engines would just block our IP addresses.

I use Yahoo Site Explorer. I've installed SEOQuake for Firefox so when I use the Yahoo Site Explorer for backlinks, I get to see PR, number of outgoing links, incoming links etc etc for every page displayed as a result of link:domain.com query.
Need some time to handle deferred joining date by three big IT companies.

If your work is still pending, I'll soon get in touch.
