Thread: 16 Mbps internet speed

One company in India has launched 16Mbps speed internet connection.

Any one is using it? how is the experience?

BTW right now my internet speed is 2Mbps which also quite good.

My internet now is about 512kb/s and costs $60/month (around $40USD) for 10GB

I'm at 14MB


And it goes pretty fast, so I guess 16Mbps will be even better

I have free 2 mbps/flat. And it works ok, but I will change soon to 768kbps/flat for a 20$.

I'm currently using an 8 Mb connection and was considering an upgrade to 30Mb, but then my provider told me in 2 months I should have 100 Mb available, so guess what I'm gonna do...

i m currently using 256kbps plan and it sucks

i am using 2mbps. bsnl connection and its quite good.

You are talking of Airtel right? But check this, they have just 20GB limit in that plan. In a 16 mbps speed, 20GB will get used up in few hours!

Also, a recent rankings have rated Indian broadband at 102 out of a total 110 countries

Yes it is about Airtel.

We are on 512kbps and we pay arround $50 !
It's very hard to live on an Island ^^"
