Which is the best Instant Messenger and why?

I love MSN, as most of my friends use it... I don't like AIM & Yahoo, they are too 'basic'. The stupid thing about MSN is that they're full of ads though..

I use MSN and its good for me.:)

Any idea about ebuddy type (having many chat options)?

I don't like eBuddy and only use it when I'm on school.. It's slow, and doesn't have all features the real messenger has.

But really useful.
When I was on holiday I was in touch with friends through ebuddy, works fine on mobile.

I'm a Windows Live Messenger fan. Been using it for years and I'm 100% sattisfied.

I use Pidgin, but my favourite network has to be AIM. Best uptime ever. :p
