Hi guys, I got the new PC yesterday and I'm trying to figure out a way how to transfer the files, folders I need here on this new PC.
Any ideas how I can do that as fast as possible and maybe automatically.
Thanks in advance,
JokeR

USB Stick? You can buy cheap 8GB / 16GB USB's at the moment, so I guess that's a pretty easy way
Ofcourse you can transfer them via cable too, with a switch but that costs more ofcourse (especially if it's only for once, if you would need it more than I would tell you to buy that).

I have 8gb usb. Maybe I'll do that.
Was hoping if anyone knows a more "automatic" way
My mate told me it's also possible to put in your LAN cable or something.. that will go even faster
But I'm not into that stuff, so I hope someone else can help![]()

When I got my new pc I was told about a external unit that you can simply remove your old HD and put it into this cradle and use it as an extra or external HD on your new PC if I recall it wasn't expensive was only around $60 might be an alternative so you know you didnt forget anything or loss anything.
Other then that using your router or just connect the two pcs as a network should work but for me setting up my home network was a pain so an external unit is much easier.
If all you have is the USB then that would be your best route slow but will work.

Thanks for your tips. I think I'll connect them in LAN tomorrow. Too tired and frustrated now![]()
