Difficulties uploading in Youtube

I have been trying to upload a video since last night in youtube and its becoming a pain that it took forever and its still not successfully uploaded. Has anyone ever experienced this and solved the issue? I actually tried the updating software from adobe flash player, java and my browsers just to see it things will work for it but I still get same issue.

This file is just around 6mb and it says 4 minutes but it took me hours and hours waiting yet wasn't successfully uploaded still. Anyone has the solution please.

Is it in one of the recommended formats?

I have not had any problems uploading videos that are less than 10 meg, but even those sometimes take an hour or more to get rendered by YouTube. They may be experiencing a large backlog or there is some kind of a connection problem. If the format is not correct or there is a problem with the video itself, that could be a show-stopper.

Let me ask you this: Are you phone verified with YT?

Not sure though, do they require us to be verified? I have actually upload videos before using this account.
I will try verifying to see it it works. I have emailed youtube lately but see no reply though I'm almost sure its on their end thats faulty.

I used to have loads of problems with YT, but when I have gotten SMS verified with them, those issues disappeared.
