Thread: Do you have Google as your homepage?

I use Opera which has SpeedDial feature to setup nine sites that can be reached with a single click. But, I want to increase the limit. And yes, Google is one of the nine.

I use the same. However why put google to speed dial. You have the search above, search at address bar with g in front of phrase, search right after the address bar

If you use Opera 10 beta 2 as me then you have configure button at the bottom.
I use beta since it is much faster and generaly better feel while surfing.

I tried Firefox few times, but I need 20 plugins to get it usefull as Opera.


On Opera I need only two plugins.

First one is that Opera SEOBAR.

It show alexa site rank, google page rank for current page.

Also it can show number of indexed pages in google and yahoo and number of backlinks for google and yahoo, so as so existence of site on major SB sites.

It can highlight every noindex nofollow or external link on a site.
Link statistics and other staff like meta tags, robots, whois...

Other plugin I use is XHTML validator for youtube clips. I simply copy to it embed code and it gave me validated plugin.

Also usually I use other theme but I am testing this new default one.

I guess it depends on the needs.

Generally I use Opera. But for webmaster related purposes, I use Firefox - mainly because of SeoQuake plugin and Firebug plugin. Opera does not have any plugin similar to Firebug, to the best of my knowledge.

I dont know what Firebug is, but I think its some kind of tool for live editing of web sites and html, css tweaks, debugging and similar...


If YES, then Opera has that. Its called Dragonfly or Opera Developer Tools and it is not plugin, every Opera contain it .

Click on Tools -> Advanced -> Developer Tools
