There is no doubt that Google Chrome OS will pull in huge numbers when it is launched, just like the Chrome Browser. This will be because of the huge hype surrounding the release, as well as the Win and Mac haters that have already believed that Chrome OS will revolutionize the OS industry. But time will tell if Chrome will really satisfy the expectations of the market.
Chrome Browser was a hot topic of discussion just a year ago; hardly anyone talks about it now.
as announced on google blog --- they say -- it will be light and super fast and on the trends of new technology keeping in mind the web2 effect. so iam expectign some fast stuff
I will wait to see, will be similar to Windows or similar to Ubuntu, Fedora ?
I'm expecting a thin client OS with hosted applications and data.
Perhaps your PC will also "opt in" to a large distributed processing network.
Should be neat to see what effects it will have on Microsoft's future plans! When the elephants battle it out, things usually end up better for us as the consumer unless one dies....

I have read a lot about it and I will surely give it a shot.
Will try it. Can't say much about it until I see it but it has bags of potential.
Since G is behind it I think it should be good. I will use it for sure.
