there are many methods and custom video players. but for that, you'll need your video in .FLV format or you can simply embed it using the <embed> tag (that doesn't work on all browsers tho)

OK but I have to use them to upload it, right? Is there a good wordpress plugin to upload videos directly and not use youtube?

If you are looking for a Quick Time player to play your videos and then have the videos on a wordpress blog there is a plugin here.
