I HATE Windows!

My computer is stuffed and have no clue how to fix it

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? (thought I may as well ask)

Every time something like this happens I say to myself, I should have brought a mac

Is it possible to wipe my computer and start fresh with a mac OS or are there special hardware requirements?

I'm been reinstalling vista about once every 3-4 months as after that time I just seem to get errors. I haven't done it in the last 6 months and it still seems to be running fine which is interesting.

I might try Ubuntu if Mac is not possible to install.

I found the problem, it was the usb wireless thing I was using. Every time I plug in in it BSOD's.

Even without this problem I have to reinstall vista every 2-3 months because the boot files randomly go missing.

Downloading Ubutu now, 800MB (big file) so I will download it over the next few days.

Do you have system restore enabled? May be restoring it to last restore point will help you. Also try booting in 'Safe Mode' (which generally can be done by pressing F8 key while booting) and check if the same restarting problem occurs.

If you can login from the safe boot, check the softwares that you installed lately and for any possible conflicts. Try uninstalling them. If you are unable to install naturally use the You Uninstaller

I've recently made the change to Ubuntu. It is a steep learning process to understand certain things imo, but it's stable and looks good too. I have to take my time however before I will use the same webmaster applications that I have on windows.

Thanks, the only programs I need for my websites will be FF and notepad (or equivalent).
