TRY!

Trick#1

Nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the
Computer which can be named as "CON". This is something pretty
Cool...andUnbelievable. ... At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened !
TRY IT NOW ,IT WILL NOT CREATE " CON " FOLDER

Trick#2

For those of you using Windows, do the following:

1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type "Bush hid the facts" (without the quotes)

3 .) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.

Trick#3

Open Microsoft Word and type

=rand (200, 99)

And then press ENTER
Then see ...

What should happen with Trick #2. I tried it but it didn't work. Obviously I did something wrong.

I still cant get it working. Does this work with Vista too?

No Desan it doesnt work on Vista first one does. Interesting that they dont know why.

Yep. I tried the first one too.

CON is a device name for the keyboard. You can't create a folder named CON because DOS/Windows will try to save that data to the keyboard.

Here's something that demonstrates this:

C:\>copy con file.txt
This is some data I am typing into the file before I press <CONTROL-Z> to end data input.
^Z
1 file(s) copied.
C:\>

In this trick, you are copying a file from the CON (short for console -- the keyboard) to a file named file.txt.

^Z is the character DOS/Windows uses as an END-OF-FILE marker.

ha ha ha these have been around the internet (circulated through emails) for ages... still pretty cool tho....

i have been wanting to know how to do the 3rd trick for ages
