Spybot causing IE 7 to crash?

I've been messages that SDHelper.dll has encountered a problem. Then IE 7 crashes. Anyone else having this problem or know how to solve it?

I've just uninstalled the old spybot and downloaded 1.6.2.46

    I hope that does it.

Yeah, which version are you using?

I have IE7 on my PC and I used Spybot. I had no problem with IE7.

Hm. Seems moot. Looks like a known issue with several versions of Spybot:

  8. Dont use the live or real time spybot protection. I think its called tea time, or something like that. Its a part of spybot that monitors changes to your browser in real time.

But my question is, your using internet explorer 7? That is so 20th century. Get with the times and get firefox.

You may want to download malwarebytes from download.com. I think it does a better job then spybot and adaware.

I just upgraded to XP. I was using Windows 2000 and it wasn't supported anymore. So I had no choice. IE7 works pretty good. I've used firefox and I'm not a big fan.

I'm going to investigate malwarebytes. Anybody else using it?

I will try malwarebytes. I had two more SDHelper.dll crashes tonight. The funny thing is that for the last week, I was running fine.
