Have you ever thought what the total Number of Websites on Earth is?

According to the Netcraft data, the total number of websites on the world wide web as of January 2009 is 185,497,213 (185 million).

Please update it with the information you have. Thanks

Are blog counted in that value?..

There are approx. 300 new blogs created every day, or was it 300000? Not sure, but something with a 3

Since there is like 1 WordPress download per second (See their counter) it could be 30,000 or maybe 300,000

I don't think there is an exact number you can put on the amount of blogs created daily since the number would be too big and you can't find new blogs because they're new and not listed in search engines or other websites...

A majority of them however are most likely parked or not known at all and rarely visited by anyone. Like get 5 visitors a month, 4 or which are bots, 1 is the admin.

LOL, yeah, and some are just abandoned waiting to be removed when the domain expires; though abandoned blogs on blogger and wordpress will remain.
