Why my Hardisk partition open in new window.

help me plz to solve my this problem.

suppose i am click on "D my hardisk partition" then my mycomputer window is still open and D partition is open in new window.

can anyone help me.

It opens in new window or it is asking you to chose a program to open this drive or document . If it is opening new tab which is asking you to select a program to open this document than you must be infected by virus .

Have you tried in the Windows menu: Tools/Folder Options.. ,then the 'General' tab/'Browse folders' and see if 'Open each folder in the same window' is selected?

already mention that open new window with my that drive data as normal but in new window.

i am asking about partition open, i know about that folder option

Change the option to Open each folder in the same window

do this :
1) open cmd (ctrl+R/cmd)
2) type in cd\ (chould take u to C:\)
3) type in 'del autorun.* /f /s /q /a' <== Case Sensitive
4) use step '3' on all partitions i.e. pressing '

' then step '3', 'E:' then step 3.
5) REstart ur PC, changes wont work without restarting.
SHould work now.
