Will anyone be upgrading to Windows 7 when it comes out in October of this year?
I will and I have preordered it at a cheap price. I'm running the pre release version of it now and it runs great (A lot better than Vista!)

Ofcourse I will, but I'll try it on my laptop first. If it's good enough I might upgrade it from my computer too. At the moment both are on XP again since Vista wasn't what I expected it to be
Let's hope Windows 7 does everything I need!![]()

I do not plan to upgrade, but I will probably buy a new laptop after Windows 7 is released.
Why fix something that is not broken, or upgrade to something that possibly is broken. A lot of people felt they were were burned by Vista. The surveys that I have seen indicate that most companies will not upgrade to Windows 7, either. A lot of companies initially bought Vista, but then went back to XP.

Well, I think I am going to upgrade.
I like it more than others.

I have already upgraded to Windows 7. I've been using it for months.
Definitely less bugs than any other OS. Highly recommended.
However, I still prefer Linux above all - I just don't use it anymore due to some compatibility issues with software.
Windows Vista was good for a while, but ultimately ended in disaster.
Nope, I will not upgrade to 7. I have a main desktop with XP, and no need to upgrade it, it works flawlessly. I have my gaming machine with Vista, only for DX10. And then I have linux for anything and everything else. I see no need for Windows 7.
im not sure but i probably wont. the reviews dont really impress anyone. the fact that linux silently release the more advance system.
