Thread: Would You Buy the Blackberry Torch?

RIM just announced the new Blackberry Torch today:

The new BlackBerry will compete with the iPhone with touchscreen functionality and a keyboard that slides out of the phone. It will be running the newest BlackBerry operating system, BlackBerry 6

Seems as if it has some cool social media features.

It's an stunning piece of equipment, I played with the demo. I'm not sure what I would buy, i never used a blackberry or something similar before. An open source alternative -if exists- would be interesting too.

You don't need a Blackberry Torch yet? I bet once you have one and you start using the features you'll find that you probably couldn't live without it. I mean, once I got a similar smart phone, I found that I wasn't able to live without my current phone because of its features.
