Thread: [Req] A Wordpress Themes Theme

Does anyone know where I can get a wordpress themes theme from? I want a theme that displays themes, like a theme download theme, if you know what I mean. I see plenty of theme sites but not the sites themes. I've searched google (of course) but nothing shows except theme sites, not theme themes. Confused? I am

I want to make a wordpress based themes download site if that's clearer but I can't find a suitable base theme (I don't know what else to call it), something that will display number of views, times downloaded, demo link, screen shot, ratings etc. plus a user submit section with admin approval. And hopefully for free if possible, or very cheap at least. Ideas anyone?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm afraid it falls a bit short on features for me though, sorry. It also needs to be a 100% legit too, no offense, but I'll be using it with adsense so it needs to be right, I've had enough domains banned already (the latest one last week). I can get something suitable for about $20 (ish) it's just that I'm cheap (and it isn't wordpress based). I was hoping to cash in on wordpress's popularity and good standing with search engines, that's why I was looking fo a wordpress solution. All that seo love - mmm.

Thanks for your suggestion but the problem I have is finding the theme template. I've searched on that and other sites but all I find are ordinary themes, not theme display themes. When I search for gallery or portfolio themes I still only get normal themes or ones for photos. I've looked at page after page until my eyes glaze over and all I get is a headache, there's only so many webpages I can look at in a day. I'll be worn my glasses out soon looking at so many themes. It gets boring after a while too.

I've even looked at the page source for theme names on themes sites and still been unable to find one, it's frustrating to say the least. Good job I'm not desperate. I'll keep looking but I don't have much hope of finding what I want tbh. I may end up keeping what I've got. I posted here because I thought someone might know a site for wp theme sites templates. I guess it's not something many people use, it seems more 'niche' that I expected. Ah well.
