Thread: Will Pay $5 to fix my time.

Hi,

I have a WP theme remade for my site. The coder that made this code is unavailable at this time. I will pay $5 to some one who can do a quck fix to it After I see that it works.

This code was working fine 100% then, I moved the site to a different server and now it is off by 6hrs.

Instead of it doing what it is suppose to do at Midnight it is doing it at 6PM.

I know nothing about php wordpress codes. I am only guessing that this is a quick fix.

Ok some tried these things.

Change: $today = getdate();
To: $today = getdate()+0.25;

Got this error

Try this instead:
$today = DATEADD(hh,6,getdate());

Got this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function DATEADD() in /home/sami/domains/freewomensblogs.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/freewomenstheme/index.php on line 6


tried this

Try: $today += 21600;

It was showing things from July.

Just got a reply. They will not change the server time Said it would mess up other stuff.

Must fix the wp theme time code.

Sami, pm me what the template is currently using your your time code as well as what you need it to be doing and I should be able to edit that for ya.

Whoops, sorry Sami, I forgot about this because I received the PM from you when NB was having those page load problems the other day, and I could never actually view the message correctly. I've seen it now and will take a look at as I have time later today. Hopefully I can get it for you, else hopefully someone else will join in and see this before I do.

The code you sent me works. It is one hour off. When I started this thread it was before the time change I think.??? I will leave it as is for it is changing at 1AM for me not midnight close enough. It would be right on if a lived in the next time zone.
