Nothing in the error log to do with this script.

I can do that.
The best thing is if you can login to the Unix shell and use the `tail -f` command on the log file while attempting to do a translation.

The log files show no messages from the translation script. It looks like the error (whatever it is!) is happening
before the script gets called.
Your error logs are being spammed because of an unrelated issue. It's in /forums/global.php, so it's probably not causing what we're seeing.
I'm stumped. I'm not sure what I would look for even if I had shell access.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure those apache errors are to do with
vbseo .
But that should not interfere when trying to translate just my root.

I just installed on a fresh domain with nothing other than a index.html
Same 403. I think this is a script error or the installation guide is wrong.

I'm thinking more along the lines of "undocumented dependency". I am trying to figure out what my FreeBSD/Apache/PHP system has that yours doesn't.
I hate to say this, but... can I talk you into giving me temporary access to your fresh domain?
