Thread: Can the translated pages be one level up?

Hi, I am just wondering if that is possible to have the translated pages like this: www.website.com/es/, www.website.com/fr/, instead of www.website.com/lang/es/, somewhere I read that the deeper you go in the subfolders structure, the less relevant the page is to google when ranking... I don't know how much truth is on that, but I would like to know if this is possible to be done in an easy way? or would be too messy to do?

I haven't figured out a way to do it. It's probably possible, but I haven't done it.

you need to edit the relative url in some php variable defined somewhere in your script to edit that path.

This is a great script but this right here is more of what I am looking for. Any ideas on how to exactly change it so that it will work this way?
