Thread: Folders location

Hi,

First of all, I would to like to thank to everyone who created this script.

I tried to install the script, but I have some questions..Should i place the folders at / or at /public_html/ ?

If i place them at / i get a 404 error, but in /public_html/ the link seems to work but no translation happens.

I tried to activate the logs/debug but I can't seem to find them, does anyone know where to find Apache logs?

Ok, I've managed to get the script working Some pages aren't working, but all products of my store seem to be translated.

I still have some questions regarding the translation, namely if it is normal for the created files at /translate/g to not have any extension, they are named after the the url+_html. Is it normal? Will they get indexed by search engines?

One more thing, how can I get an url like example.com/en/index.html instead of example.com/lang/en/index.html ?

When i thought i was getting all the problems solved I get stumbled by this:

Code: -2 (Translator returned status '503'

Does this mean I've been temp banned by Google?

I removed all files and tried a new installation. I think I had some problems with my .htaccess.

What problems are you having?

if it has to do with the savemode how to turn this off?

This error message usually means that PHP safe_mode is enabled. If you are the admin of your server, disable safe_mode. If you are not the admin, as the admin (usually your hosting company) to disable safe_mode. If they refuse, look for a more responsive hosting company.
