A couple of high-priority projects have unfortunately delayed our efforts to improve the script to work better elsewhere.
The real difficulty is that the scripts internals are so complex that we can't easily bring new coders up to speed on how it works. They are as likely to break something as they are to fix something.
So, although I can hire a new PHP guy -- it wouldn't do a lot of good in the short-term.
How is the $65 script working out for you? Is it something you would recommend?
Actually ive coded my own, using the Google translate API so no ip bans or css/code issues. Also running alongside MySQL so no issues with disk space.
It seems that CMS-based translation engines are a much easier solution architecturally, they avoid so many complexities that come with generic full-page translators.
Plus, the MySQL data storage is quite interesting!
Yeah, the db caches sentences between tags, rather than full pages, this also eludes the page limit cut off and that is why storage is low, the template etc is called via the normal cms methods.
OK that $65 script is not working! You can see the site and demo. See the source and you'll see there are google JS and CSS there. Its not good. Please don't buy it. I emailed the support 5 times and I'm yet to receive a reply. Will, please remove the recommendation in the "translation script alternatives". Its not working anymore!
